The QRL Mobile Wallet is solely intended for storing, sending, and receiving QRL tokens. We do not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Users should conduct their own research and seek professional advice if necessary before making any cryptocurrency transactions.

3. No Liability – Use at Your Own Risk

Volt Development is never liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from the use or inability to use the QRL Mobile Wallet, regardless of the cause. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Loss of private keys, seed phrases, or passwords.
  • Malware, hacks, phishing, unauthorized access, or other cyberattacks.
  • Errors in the software, network, or underlying blockchain protocol.
  • Incorrect entry of wallet addresses, transaction details, or smart contract interactions.
  • Depletion of OTS keys, causing the wallet to be permanently locked.
  • Technical failures, including app crashes, network downtime, or connectivity issues.
  • Actions taken by third parties, including exchanges, node operators, or blockchain validators.
  • Changes in blockchain protocols, forks, regulatory restrictions, or unforeseen system failures.

By using the QRL Mobile Wallet, you acknowledge and accept that Volt Development provides the software as-is and without any guarantees or warranties either express or implied.

4. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for securing their wallets, private keys, and seed phrases. Volt Development never has access to private keys and cannot recover lost accounts.

5. One-Time Signature (OTS) Keys

The QRL blockchain uses One-Time Signature (OTS) keys for transactions. Each transaction consumes an OTS key, and once all OTS keys are used, the wallet will be permanently locked.

  • It is the user’s responsibility to track and manage OTS keys.
  • Volt Development is not liable for locked wallets due to OTS key depletion.
  • We recommend creating a new wallet before running out of OTS keys.

6. Third-Party Services and APIs

The QRL Mobile Wallet may integrate with third-party services, such as exchanges or APIs. Volt Development is not responsible for the operation, reliability, or security of these external services.

7. Modifications and Updates

Volt Development reserves the right to modify the application at any time, including features, compatibility, and security measures. Users should install updates promptly.

8. Legal Restrictions

The use of the QRL Mobile Wallet is subject to local laws and regulations. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their country's legal requirements.

9. Purchasing QRL via Banxa

The QRL Mobile Wallet allows users to purchase QRL through Banxa, a third-party payment provider. Volt Development does not process payments, handle transactions, or have any control over exchange rates, fees, or processing times related to these purchases. Transactions are subject to Banxa’s terms of service and policies, and users are responsible for reviewing these terms before proceeding.

  • Volt Development is not responsible for delays, failed transactions, or issues with payments.
  • Exchange rates and fees are determined solely by Banxa and may change based on market conditions.
  • Banxa may require identity verification (KYC) as part of compliance checks.
  • Refunds, chargebacks, and dispute resolution are handled directly by Banxa.
  • Users should ensure their payment method and jurisdiction support cryptocurrency purchases.
